About

In Intercomprehension each person uses his or her own language and understands that of the other. Redinter is a network  promoting intercomprehension in and among different language families and beyond related linguistic features.

These pages will show how Intercomprehension can also be relevant outside the language classroom, and how Intercomprehension can respond to new needs and new audiences.  Alternative distribution modes and channels; ideas and motions for policymakers; adaptation of materials to more languages; adaptation of learning materials and methods for professionals and young adults; awareness raising for future language teachers; support for groups with existing practices in intercomprehension; extended networking activities will be the main headings of our information.
